Privacy Policy

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no forms. The short version is that it collects nothing about you. The detail is below.

What this policy covers

This policy describes how the LabelWise website at safe-choice.app handles information about the people who visit it. LabelWise was previously called SafeChoice, and both names refer to the same publisher.

It covers the website only. The LabelWise mobile app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the data each app version collects is disclosed on those store listings under Apple's privacy labels and Google Play's Data safety section. Those listings are the authoritative description of app data handling; read them before installing.

What the website collects

Nothing, in the ordinary sense. This site is a set of static pages. It does not set cookies, it does not run analytics or advertising scripts, it embeds no third-party trackers, and it contains no forms, logins, comment boxes, or newsletter signups. There is nothing on the site that asks you for personal information, so there is nothing for us to store.

We do not build visitor profiles, we do not fingerprint browsers, and we do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with anyone, because we do not hold any.

Server logs held by our host

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's infrastructure automatically records standard request information when a page is served: the IP address that made the request, the time, the URL requested, the referring page, and the browser's user-agent string. This happens at the hosting layer for security, abuse prevention, and reliability, and it is a normal part of serving any website.

We do not use these logs to identify or track individual visitors, and we do not combine them with any other information. Their retention is governed by Vercel's own policies as our hosting provider.

Children

This website publishes general food-label reference material and is not directed at children. Because the site collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

Privacy laws including the UK and EU GDPR and the CCPA give people rights to access, correct, and delete personal data a company holds about them, and to object to its processing.

Those rights are straightforward to honour here: the website holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing to export, correct, or erase. If you believe we hold information about you and want it addressed, contact us using the address below and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If the website ever starts collecting information, for example by adding analytics or a contact form, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to aarizrasheed2345@gmail.com. For questions about data held by the mobile app rather than the website, the developer support channels on the App Store and Google Play listings are the correct route.
